TapWell uses the same advanced design as a third-party tested filter proven to reduce chlorine, heavy metals, microplastics, and other common tap water contaminants. It can help lower fluoride levels, but it does not remove fluoride completely.
Because fluoride is highly soluble, complete removal usually requires a reverse osmosis (RO) system. While RO systems are effective for that purpose, they also strip away beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium, and can waste a large amount of water in the process.
TapWell offers a balanced, sustainable solution by filtering out harmful substances while keeping the good minerals your body needs. If full fluoride removal is essential for you, an RO system may be the better option, though it is often less practical for everyday home use.
The TapWell filter is not certified for microbiological (bacteria or parasite) removal, and results can vary depending on your local water quality.
